1. On the start date of the exam: Email provides the information about the start and end dates of the assigned exams including time i.e availability of the exam.
2. On the due date of the exam (If the resident did not complete the exam): Email alerts the residents that the exam will be expiring today with the date and time.
   
3. After the due date of the exam (After the "grace period" if any; and if the resident did not complete the exam): Email provides the information that the resident did not complete the exam.
   

Notifications do not go out when the activity is schedule for a future date (only when it starts)
